Brunch with Industry

Brunch with Industry is an event to bring together engineering and science students with successful professional women in these fields. The event will consist of keynote speakers and a delicious brunch. The speakers will share their experiences and give advice, allowing students to gain insight on opportunities and roles of women in this industry.

This year’s Brunch With Industry has turned virtual!! Join us for our new online event: Breakfast in Bed! Breakfast in Bed is a blog featuring women in various STEM fields who will give students an introduction and inside look into their respective professions. Each speaker will post on the blog and students will be able to ask questions in the comment section of the blog. This event aims to highlight women in STEM and will focus on how Covid-19 has affected the workplace, allowing students to get a real idea of how industry professions deal with challenge and change. The blog will launch on November 2nd, 2020 and will run throughout the week until November 6th, 2020. Students can ask questions Monday to Wednesday and see answers by Friday! Every student who asks a question will receive a Tearoom coupon and be entered into a raffle to win 2 free movie tickets and snacks to the Screening Room!
